| Pushkar Fair is organized
and celebrated at Pushkar and its precincts to commemorate its sanctity
and fabulous richness. The fair continues for twelve days in the month of
kartika of vikram year (oct-nov of Gregorian Calendar). The main occasion
is the poornima (full moon of the month). Small but important pilgrimage
place in india is the pushkar town. Pushkar is better known for the cattle
